Peter is a New Zealand businessman and politician currently serving as President of the New Zealand National Party. He has a UCLA Masters in Business Administration and both a Bachelor of Laws and of Commerce. Peter joined the Board of St Andrew’s Village in 2008 and currently serves on the Finance, Audit and Risk Subcommittee plus the Nominations Subcommittee.

Current CEO of the NZX listed, Argosy Property Limited, Peter Joined the board in 2019 and was appointed chair of the Property Committee in 2020. Peter has a property industry career of over 40 years, is a fellow of the Property Institute of New Zealand, and a past President of the Property Council of New Zealand. Peter is a trustee of the Massey University Property Foundation and a trustee of the New Zealand Sailing Trust.

Before joining the Board in 2018, Jill was a consultant Geriatrician at Auckland City Hospital for 25 years, the last 7 as a community Geriatrician. Jill then worked for the HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing for 5 years as their Executive Officer. She continues to have an interest in leg ulcer research and is on the Dove Hospice and Wellness Board. Jill was appointed Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee in 2023 and is also on the Strategy and Innovation Committee.

Previously a partner with KPMG, Sarah has worked in many CFO roles and has exclusive experience working with not-for-profit organisations and aged care. She currently holds the CFO role at The Trust Investments Management Limited.

Paul is a geriatrician based at Older People’s Health at Auckland City Hospital and Greenlane Clinical Centre.
His mission is ensuring older people get high quality healthcare to permit maximum health, function and independence. Where that independent living is not possible they should have the best possible residential care. Paul joined the Board of Trustees in 2011 and is Chair of the Clinical Governance Subcommittee

Francis Gacad

Francis Gacad is our Admissions Manager for the care centre, a role he has held with us for 14 years and counting. Francis has an extensive background in Health Care and Aged Care, and he holds a diploma in social work. Francis works with residents and their families to facilitate both long-term and short-stay (respite) admissions into our care centre and care suites.

Carmen is the Director of Care for St Andrew’s Village and has clinical oversight of all our care centre and retirement village operations. Carmen is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience, with many of those being in senior leadership roles. Since joining St Andrew’s in 2011, Carmen has also been involved in the design of the various new care buildings which are underway.

Judy is the Retirement Living Manager and oversees the day to day running of the Retirement Village, which includes all new sales/resales and rentals. Judy has an extensive background in marketing and real estate and first joined St Andrew’s in 2006. Since that time she has also been heavily involved with the design of many of the construction projects which have either been completed or currently in the planning stages.
