What people say about our Functions:

“Thank you for all your great suggestions, and very practical application of these, for our 90th celebration in the Conservatory this recent 16th November.

Please pass on our very highest commendation to the Chef & Kitchen team for their preparation & presentation of perfect dishes. And to Ambrin please relay a special thank you. You, Anbrim, & your staff were so attentive & considerate in every detail. Our family group of 23 enjoyed a fabulous evening!

I plan to return a glass bowl today if I possibly can.  I left 2 bowls of flowers for you with Ambrim as a thank you.

Again, many thanks”

John W – May 2024

“Recently we celebrated our 60th Wedding Anniversary luncheon in The Terraces restaurant. Everything about the occasion was perfect, the table setting, beautiful food and especially the attention of the waitstaff.  Each member of our family, teenagers through to those in their eighties, thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the whole event. We wish to extend a particular thank you to Debbie for having arranged the occasion.”

Stephen & Joan – November 2024

“I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the exceptional service and support you and your team provided for Aiden’s 100-day ceremony. The event was an incredible success, and we owe much of that to your meticulous planning and the outstanding efforts of the restaurant wait staff team.

The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all of our guests felt welcome and well taken care of. Their professionalism and warm hospitality did not go unnoticed; everyone was genuinely impressed by the level of service they received.

The venue was beautifully arranged, and the facilities were top-notch, creating a perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our guests were full of praise for the entire setup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Thank you once again for making this special day so memorable for our family and friends. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire wait staff team. We truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication that went into making our event a resounding success.”

Thomas & Sharon – June 2024

St Andrew’s Village has achieved global award-winning excellence

We are so pleased to announce that St Andrew’s Village has achieved global award-winning excellence and secured three top honours at the prestigious 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards.

Often dubbed the “Oscars” of Aged Care, this international recognition cements our position as a leader in innovative senior living. The awards recognise excellence across various aspects of eldercare. St Andrew’s Village’s triple win highlights our dedication to resident well-being on multiple levels. We were awarded Operator of the Year – Residential Aged Care and Facility of the Year – Residential Aged Care, marking the first time a single site achieved both. “The awards reflect our people,” says CEO Andrew Joyce, and he feels it emphasises our commitment to “continually provide exceptional services in exceptional surroundings” and maintain strong resident-family connections.

St Andrew’s Village also secured the Facility of the Year – Ageing-In-Place award for our innovative approach to supporting independent living. The judges were impressed by our holistic approach to well-being and ongoing regeneration efforts that create a supportive and connected environment. Well done to all our incredible team village-wide who deserve a standing ovation for all their hard work and dedication that has now been recognised on the world stage.

St Andrew's Village Takes Home Top Honours at Global Eldercare Awards.

St Andrew's Village is celebrating a remarkable achievement after securing three prestigious awards at the recent 12th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards. This international recognition solidifies their position as a leader in innovative and high-quality senior care.

The Ageing Asia Eldercare Innovation Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars" of Aged Care, is a highly respected competition. Finalists present their work to a distinguished panel of judges, making St Andrew's Village's triple win all the more impressive. A Commitment to Resident Wellbeing, St Andrew's Village was awarded Operator of the Year – Residential Aged Care and Facility of the Year - Residential Aged Care. These accolades highlight their dedication to resident well-being. In the history of the awards, this is the first time a single site has achieved both distinctions.

Andrew Joyce, CEO of St Andrew's Village, attributes this success to the village's people. "The awards are a reflection of the people that work within St Andrew's," he says. "They also reflect the commitment from the entire team to keep refreshing the site, to continually provide exceptional services in exceptional surroundings, and to enable families to stay connected."  St Andrew's Village also secured the Facility of the Year – Ageing-In-Place award. This recognises their innovative approach to supporting seniors who wish to live independently in their own homes.

The judging panel was particularly impressed by the village's focus on "looking after the whole resident," emphasising social, cognitive, cultural, and spiritual well-being alongside physical needs. The ongoing regeneration efforts within the village, including green buildings and welcoming communal spaces, further contribute to a supportive environment for residents.
